Is Christmas Eve and we decided to explore this Vintage Diners which located at Yio Chu Kang. I’ll be the perfect way to chill our day away and watch a lovely sunset despite raining day!

Kombi Rocks is the revamped look for Koon Kee Restaurant established in 1971, serving Thai & Chinese recipes passed down 3 generations. Apart from that, Kombi Rocks also rents and sells vintage memorabilia, watches and the like as props or for personal collections.

FYI, Kombi means Mini Bus in German. ◕‿◕

Other than the “Diner” branch, they also have the “Rides” branch where they have cute vintage vehicles for hire.
If you’re planning for a photoshoot, wedding or just for a joyride, you can arrange with them!

Its signature dishes include its wok-hei hor fun and red wine fried chicken as stated on the menu.

The food is more homecooked style but nothing extraordinary compares to many better known Zi Char places, though it’s more pricey but less the heat and noise you may find in hawker centers or other coffee shops.

Drinks are served in a jar but a lot of the items on the menu are not available and only served at late night.
