One of the latest tourist and local attraction in Singapore got to be the Singapore Flyer. It’s Singapore’s very own London Eye and is the world’s largest Giant Observation Wheel. Got the tickets under “Passion Card” promotion which cost only S$15.00 nett each when original price is S$29.50 each for an adult which is kind of expensive!

Upon arrival, went down to ticketing counter at 1st floor with the email letter to redeem the boarding passes. After collection, walk up to 2nd floor where the flight entrance is, to board the Singapore Flyer. There are restaurants with local and international cuisine and a lush, tropical rain forest discovery place.

Sitting at a height of 165 metres, the Singapore Flyer has 28 capsules which can accommodate 28 people each, making a total of 784 passengers at any one time. It takes about 30 minutes to make one big turn. The wheel turns at a speed of 0.21 metres per second and we had to board the capsule as the wheel moved along. So you got to be fast!

The view on the Singapore Flyer is breathtaking. We could see Singapore cityscape surrounding the wheel. you’ll be treated to a visual 360° feast of iconic and historical landmarks and views from the Marina Bay to the Singapore River, Raffles Place, Merlion Park, Empress Place and the Padang. It’s amazing! We took so many photos to commemorate the trip.

As new developments are coming up in that area, there are many more interesting views from atop the Singapore Flyer such as the Marina Bay Sands Integrated Resort and Formula One Night Race venue. It would be superb to watch the F1 Night Race from a bird’s eye view. A great way to soak in the Singapore atmosphere on the Singapore Flyer!~♥ Beautiful glittering night views~! ♥~ (^^)

Thanks for everything~!
